Our Core Purpose
Addressing the root causes of species extinction and habitat degradation while uplifting marginalized local and indigenous communities around Protected-Area and fragile ecosystems in Cameroon.
The Cause
Biodiversity loss, ecosystem degradation, and species extinction driven by human pressure, climate change, and unsustainable land-use practices, while marginalized local and indigenous communities around protected and fragile ecosystems in Cameroon remain excluded from conservation benefits and decision-making.
Our Response
Protecting and restoring ecosystems through community-led conservation, sustainable livelihoods, secure land rights, climate resilience, improved environmental health, and youth empowerment, ensuring that people living around Cameroon’s protected and fragile ecosystems are central to long-term stewardship and conservation success.
